Whether you're a designer or just a design enthusiast, there are certain words of wisdom everyone can live by. This series, made "just for fun" by Anthony Neil Dart, takes some meaningful phrases by Massimo Vignelli and turns them into wonderful tribute posters. It's calledVignelli Forever.
Massimo Vignelli is a Milan, Italy-born designer who started one of the largest design firms in the world, Unimark International, which has since closed but had designed the corporate identity of major brands like American Airlines, Ford Motor Company, Gillette and the New York Transit Authority. In fact, it was Vignelli who designed that iconic signage for the New York City Subway and its update in 1972.
Vignelli believed in simplicity through basic geographic forms.
